About Your Outfitter

Greg's first fishGreg's Grandfather and great uncles taught him to fish on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River using slices of meat leftover from the BBQ and wheaty balls for bait. They would tell him stories of the allusive catfish Big Blue. He never caught Big Blue, but did manage to catch a carp, his first fish at the age of 10.

Greg moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993 where he had a success in the plumbing trade. He hired Captain Joe Wegener to take him and his family on a fishing charter on Lake Mead. They had a blast and became good friends. They fished together countless times. Captain Joe was Greg's fishing mentor. He passed away in September of 2004. Joe was a huge influence and inspiration on Greg becoming a Captain and Master Guide. Thanks Joe.
